Ruhama is a sweet 6-year-old girl who lives in Korah with her mother, Benalf. As a single parent facing serious health challenges with HIV, Benalf is unable to work and has little family or community support to rely on.

Although her own education ended after 10th grade, Benalf dreams of one day learning hairstyling so she can provide for her daughter in the future. For now, sponsorship is a lifeline — helping cover food, rent, and basic needs, and giving them hope where otherwise there would be none.
